Low Light - Feb 8

$250.00

Saturday February 8, 2025

NOTE- Registration closes February 1, 2025

3:00 pm to 10:00 pm

ETTS Range - Waxahachie, Tx

Prohibited Equipment:
Sig 320s and some holsters are prohibited (Serpa, cross draw, shoulder, or pliable).

This training is suitable for competent shooters, with safe weapons handling. Students will learn low-light tactics, along with techniques for using both handheld and weapon mounted lights. The training will focus on how the environment and conditions dictate the tactics and methods. Decreased visibility increases the difficulty of threat identification and the importance of using cover. There are always Threat ID stages in my clases.

Students will have the option to train with handgun alone, or handgun and rifle. This class will focus on both handheld skills along with mounted lights. Class times will span both daylight and nighttime hours. Students will learn skills in the daylight, then apply them in the dark. The class concludes with a mini scenario to apply the skills presented.

Prerequisite: Students should have established fundamentals and safe weapons handling. Adherence to safety protocols is mandatory. For the safety of all participants, major safety violations or uncorrected minor violations will result in removal from training.

Safe weapons handling is more important than your marksmanship skills. Attendees exhibiting unsafe weapons handling will be removed from training without a refund.

Range Fees are an additional $20

The ETTS Waiver must be completed online prior to training day.

There is not a store or facilities other than a porta-potty. Bring comfort items like sunscreen, bug spray, portable chairs, and for longer training, food or snacks.

Safety Policy

Conditioning safe shooters is a mission we take very seriously. Safety is important during training to avoid accidents, but safe weapons handling must be conditioned for it become habitual under stress.
