Saturday July 18, 2026

9:00 am to 4:00 pm

ETTS Range - Waxahachie, Tx

Sig 320s and all of their variants are not allowed.
Serpa and any other brand of trigger finger actuated holsters are prohibited.
Shoulder holsters, cross draw, small of the back, and any soft pliable holsters are probited.

Course Description:

Unlock your true defensive shooting potential with a performance‑driven handgun class designed for everyday carriers, armed professionals, and those seeking to shoot faster, safer, and more accurately.

Most traditional marksmanship training teaches shooters to over‑confirm their sights and hesitate on the trigger. The result is slow shooting—not more accurate shooting. In defensive contexts, success is measured by safe, effective rounds delivered efficiently, not with unnecessary delays.

This course guides students through a structured progression that builds confidence and capability. You’ll learn to engage targets of varying risk levels with greater speed, precision, and accountability than you thought possible.

Although these concepts originate from competition, every skill is adapted specifically for armed defense, where safety, judgment, and round accountability remain top priorities. You’ll learn to apply performance‑based techniques without compromising the realities of defensive encounters.

Red‑dot optics offer major advantages in both speed and accuracy, yet many shooters never receive the training needed to unlock that performance. This block has become a standard component in my law‑enforcement and instructor‑level programs for exactly that reason.

Iron‑sight shooters are fully supported—as a Regional Academy instructor, I present this material seamlessly to mixed‑sight classes.

Both concealed and open‑carry draw techniques are included, giving students a safe, structured path to improving draw times while building consistent mechanics that support higher‑level performance.

Prerequisite

No prior formal training is required. However, students must already be safe and competent in handling, loading, unloading, and firing their firearm.

Range Fees are an additional $20

The ETTS Waiver must be completed online prior to training day.

Safety Policy

Training safe shooters is a top priority. Safety prevents accidents, but safe weapon handling must be practiced until it becomes automatic under stress. Every class starts with a safety briefing that explains rules and consequences for unsafe behavior. Minor violations are common at first and will be corrected. Major violations may lead to ending training or removal from group classes.
